Sunday sun

Despite every one of my past outfit pictures involving me standing extremely (and I mean extremely) awkwardly, I've decided to try again. Why? I love summery clothes as much as possible without it getting creepy, and I really want to share these outfits with you. So hopefully y'all look past the tensed body and just see the clothes.

Getting past that, this is a really simple outfit perfect for sunny Sundays. This skirt has been featured so much on blogs, and I know it's not been styled to the best here, but I'm a very laid back kind of gal.
Or not.

What I mean, is that it is a casual outfit, and I think it's perfect for summer! (in my humble opinion)

Please ignore my legs, they haven't seen the sun in a veery long time. Well, other than sport, but I don't count that.

Aside from the sun coming out, a true sign of summer's arrival for me is the cherry tree in our back garden coming into blossom. I know cherry blossom has been around for a while this year, but as ours is a fruit tree rather than an ornamental it's a little later. It's just so pretty, and come summer the cherries definitely make the wait worthwhile.
Unfortunately, this was basically the only fresh air I got all day, as I am currently in a world of revising; every girl's dream. So I apologise if posts are a bit irregular, but just think of the pictures of cherries I'll be able to post later in the year!

(I've always been a great briber).

key to my heart.

Hi everyone,
Today I thought I'd put up an outfit of the day for you. I was thinking about this the other day, and I probably prefer fashion to beauty, but I just find it so much easier to take beauty pictures. I don't know what I find so difficult about taking outfit photos, I think I'm just a generally awkward person!
Anyway, I wore this outfit on Sunday and I thought it was really nice and simple, but loved that it was like key to my heart, with the necklace and jumper.
Jumper- Whisper/ Skirt- Miss Selfridge/ Shoes- Clark's/ Necklace- Unknown
(I can't find the exact colour for the brogues but the link sends you to the brown pair of the same style)
(Also, the skirt is the link to petites. I am very tall, and definitely not petite with skirts [length!] but this is perfectly fine for me)
I bought this skirt a while ago for a concert, because I just love the skater trend. This probably wouldn't be the colour I would usually choose but I've worn it a ridiculous amount. I love the way it can make an outfit that bit smarter, yet still casual.
I know it's annoying when this happens in an outfit post, but the jumper isn't a widely available item, I'm afraid. I bought it in January this year from a stall at Spitalfields market. The label in it says Whisper, but I just think it's a really nice lighter jumper and the colours are quite unique and so autumnal.
Again, I'm not quite sure where the necklace is from as I brought it from a stand at the ideal home show Christmas show. However, it's a pretty simple design that should be easy to pick up a version of in other shops. Although I do think this is a lovely brushed antique gold colour.
And the shoes. The glorious, beautiful, oxblood brogues. I love how they make the outfit that bit preppy, yet still on-trend because of the gorgeous colour. And because they're Clark's they're really comfortable.
So I hope you all enjoyed this kind of shaky outfit post, please let me know what you thought!
Bye!!xx
*Just thought I'd add that I now have tumblr! I thought it would be a nice addition to the fuchsiaforest network and a lot of my favourite bloggers use it so I decided to jump on the bandwagon! The link is below*

OOTD: Autumn colours

Hi everyone!
As you may know by now, I love autumn! And one of my favourite things about it is all the lovely clothes (and colours) you get to wear! I've bought a few things over the last few weeks, but can't wait to buy more! So here's an outfit I wore the other day, it's just a casual Saturday outfit, but I love the colours!!
My top is from Aubin & Wills (not on website I'm afraid), and I bought it from the Kilby Court outlet in Somerset. I really bought it for wearing with leggings (which I have been) but I just thought the colour just was too nice and Autumny not to wear, especially with my trousers!
And now for my trousers..! These A.Maz.Ing. burgundy ones from H&M. (I'm afraid the link won't work, but it's the only £9.99 'red' pair of ladies trousers on the website!) Again, I bought them a few weeks ago, but I love them soo so much! The cut is really nice, flattering and perfect for the autumnal temperatures. But most of all I love the colour. This may possibly be my new favourite colour. Ever. Or at least this season. Basically, I love it, and maybe look out for a colour obsession wishlist coming soon...
So that's it! I'm afraid no shoes or accessories, as... Well no excuse really!
Bye!!xxx
