Loving and lusting #19
Top// Nail varnish// Ring
By the time this post goes up I'll be in Paris, and so comes this fabulous cliché, in the form of a Breton inspired top. Jack Wills are pretty pricey, but I love the top anyway! I've also wanted to try Essie nail varnishes for a while, and whilst browsing the beauty bay website a couple of days ago I saw this colour, which I fell in love with. It's quite original, and I haven't seen it mentioned it much, but I think it looks so pretty! This ring is also the prettiest ever, and whilst expensive, is just so dainty and adorable!

The big summer loving and lusting
Today I thought I would do a special big edition of loving and lusting for summer. Now we're more than halfway through May, and the weather is on the way up (again) I'm seeing a lot of wishlist posts, and as summer is my favourite season, and there are a ridiculous amount of things I am currently lusting after, I thought I would share them all in one huge post!
Dress// Shorts// Sunglasses// Bag// Playsuit// Floral crown// Nail varnish// Surf spray// Bikini top and bottom
So obviously these are really clichéd choices, but I love the look of all of them, and they just make me so excited for the summer holidays!
If any of you have done one of these posts please leave them below, as I would love to get even more things to put on the wishlist! Also, more of my summery wants will be in my regular loving and lusting posts every Sunday!
Bye!

Loving and lusting #18
Dress// Detangling spray// Notebook
I really love the irony of the children's hair product and classy notebook being next to each other, but whilst certainly random, I really love all the items this week. The dress is the perfect summer dress for me, as broderie looks so delicate and feminine, and white is the perfect colour to wear with a tan. I can imagine myself wearing it way too often in the summer holidays. The mother also happened to receive a £15 Boden voucher in the post, which always helps... The beauty product is most definitely for young children, but my hair has been ridiculously knotty recently, and I've seen this mentioned quite a bit, so hopefully it should do the trick. Any recommendations are, however, welcomed, as I'm not a keen fan of oranges. The last product is something I've had my eye on for a while, as I am a complete stationary addict, and this notebook is so beautifully made, and I love the colour, and the message on the front, and you can get it personalised, and it is small enough to fit in my bag, and I need to calm down! However, with the personalisation it came to about £65 so I may need to either rethink or put it on the birthday list.

Loving and lusting #17
I've really missed writing these loving and lusting posts, so I thought my first 'proper' post in a month just had to be one of these! It was actually really hard, as I have been lusting after way more than three things, but these are the ones that have made the cut... for this week.
Pinafore dress// nail varnish// watch//
I've seen pinafores, particularly denim ones, on literally every blog I've clicked on recently, and it's a trend I'm a little apprehensive to try, in fear of looking a little bit 'school-girly' (not that my favourite bloggers do, but I might, if you get my jist). However, this is like the perfect middle-ground between dress and pinafore, and I love it! I've also really been getting in a really summery mood lately, with the little sun we've had. ButterLONDON have recently launched in Boots, and the summery colour and this 'newness' absolutely justify the rather hefty price tag for me. Finally, this watch is literally sheer perfection for me. It has rose gold, it has a pretty inter-changeable strap, and it's a perfect size. What more could a girl want in a watch? I saw this brand a while ago on Rosie's blog, and am seriously considering putting it up to birthday-list status. I know.
I hope you all have a lovely Sunday!

Loving and lusting #16
This week's wants have been massively influenced by some of my favourite bloggers, 20 points to anyone who can comment who they are!
1- fashion.
Spring in the UK is rarely warm, but I think this jumper is great for bringing colour and warmth into an outfit! It's crazily bright, but would look great with just some jeans or shorts.
2- beauty.
& Other Stories is a brand relatively new to the UK, and a child of H&M. They've been featured on a lot of blogs recently, and as their clothes are on the pricey side I headed over to the beauty section of their website. I need a new body scrub, and lemon is one of my favourite scents (this post!), and it's also pretty affordable. Brilliant.
3- other.
I think now you can all appreciate just how cool I truly am, but all I need say is...
Supercalafragalisticexpealidocious! (get me, I'm so cool!)

I recently saw this dress whilst perusing the UO (get me!) website, and really fell in love with it. I actually like everything from the brand, but thought this would make a really nice smart/evening but still summery dress for later in the year. It's a bit different to my normal style, but I love the collar.
2- beauty.
I genuinely seem to have a problem with lusting after mascara, apologies. The reason for this one? I always seem to get smudges under my eyes by the end of the day, and this is no smudge-simples! Also, it was featured in Sali Hughes' top 50 beauty products, which is a bonus. It's also not ridiculously expensive, only more tempting.
3- other.
I saw the black version of this in Alix's latest what's in my bag video, and instantly fell in love, for a number of reasons. One, I've been eyeing up the 'real' version for a while, which is way outside my price range. Two, I always get brown bags, which this one is. And three, it's cheap, and would be just about big enough for school. I've never ordered something similar from eBay before, so it would be very exciting. Yup.

The very brief spring-like stint we had at the begginning of this week has made me crave pastel, and I see nothing better than this. It has spring colours, will keep me warm when it's a bit nippy, and it looks amazing. Also? It follows that never-ending dip-dye trend and I think I may actually faint if I don't buy this within the next month.
2- beauty.
It pains me to say it, but I'm yet to join the MAC lipstick party. I don't kno why, but I just never really wear lipstick, so I guess I do know why. Anyway, I think this may be the lipstick to change my mind. Have you seen the colour? Gorgeous!

If these aren't cool, I don't know what are. All I need to say is pastel, spotty straws, guys.

Good morning!
1-fashion.
I absolutely love this dress for summer, and think it's just the perfect bright floral dress. it's the kind of dress you can dress up or down, but not particularly seasonal as of now...
2- beauty.
I know I've had mascara on my wishlist recently, but this one is being added. It's supposedly the best selling mascara in the UK, and it's just been so hyped up that I feel I have to try it! Sure, Lauren sure. You 'have' to try it...
3-other.
On the many not-optional trips I take to National Trust properties I go on, I like a little peruse of the gift shop. It may not be cool, but you've gotta face it that they have some pretty nice stuff in there. In fact, I almost broke my spending ban for this, but decided seeing as I don't drink coffee or tea, and barely have hot chocolates I could resist. Maybe.
Also, click on the link and see what it's called. Just- oh my.
Have a nice week! (said forcefully)

language of flowers is a relatively new fashion brand, which i recently saw featured on rosie's blog. £55 is waay more than i would ever spend on a t-shirt, but this one is just gorgeous, and definitely deserves to be in this post. i'm in love. i haven't quite decided which colour i prefer, but bear with me. i also don't particularly think my personality can be described as 'never forgotten', but the print is too pretty to care. so sorry!
2-beauty.
i'm in need of a new mascara, and not spending money in almost a century has left me craving high end. i was looking for waterproof, what with summer on it's way (saying that, it's just started snowing), and so when anna mentioned this offering from lancome it was serious lust. it's now top of my shopping list once my spending ban is finito. bring it on, i say.
3-random.
i'm in desperate need of a new makeup bag, and love the uniqueness and simplicity of this one. it's quite pricey, and if i'm honest 'L' is a pretty boring letter, but i'm still lusting big time. aah, woe is me.

if you saw friday's post you will have seen some particularly gorgeous pastel dr. martens, that i absolutely fell in love with. i've never really been that bothered with dr. martens before; they were just something i'd never seen myself in. but, i just fell in love with these ones, but they obviously turned out to be an old collection, and no longer available. pants. however, whilst on the website i saw these beauties for only £50, which is not only bargain, bu they're also perfect for spring.
2- beauty
i've seen a lot of coverage of illamasqua's new collection i'mperfection on blogs recently, and this appropriately nicknamed 'mini egg' nail varnish is, in my eyes, heaven in a bottle. mini eggs are one of my favourite chocolates ever, which makes this one product practically perfect.

i am a self confessed mary-berryer, as well as a massive fan of the great british bake off, and this is the cook book of my dreams. i love new recipes, and this just screams 'summer' to me.

i think i've finally managed to find a replacement for picmonkey, due to the stupid security on my computer, so this week should be back to normal. i'm going to jump straight into the post, so here's what i've been loving and lusting this week...
1- fashion
i'm aware that this is more of an accessory than an item of clothing, but nevertheless i renamed this category fashion so it's allowed! it's not a great picture, but i think this scrunchie from topshop is just so cute and retro, and also affordable, considering the shop.
2- beauty
this is just such a hyped up product, but i really want to introduce a clarifying shampoo into hair routine and this just seems the obvious one to go for, as it has been raved about so many times. it is quite pricey, so i'm looking for a cheaper alternative, but for now this is what i'm lusting after...
3- random
the lovely gemma has just launched an online shop with her friend, and there is some pretty gorgeous stuff on there, that i am definitely lusting after. i think this little trinket box is just so cute and would look very nice in my bedroom in france...
so that's what i'm wishing for this week, what are you liking?

buuuut... sorry that the pictures are three different pictures rather than a collage but the new security software my dad has downloaded onto our computer is blocking picmonkey and i have no clue how to unblock it/ what other software to use, and it won't be up in time if i try and learn so hopefully it will be for next week as i am very. annoyed.

agin on a spring-y note, this camera from lomography is so pretty and cute. i've always thought old-style cameras like this one are cute and the colour of this one makes it unbelievably sweet, and would just complete an outfit when/if summer comes!

i've realised this week that doing wishlists every week is really very dangerous when i'm on a spending ban. ah, the things i do for you guys..
1- clothes.
i wear my black skater skirt so much, i thought i would definitely get wear out of a second one. i love the versatility of this denim one, as i think it adds a bit to any outfit and can be paired with anything, in any season.
2- beauty.
i got quite a big sample of daisy last year and almost bought it then i loved it so much, but as ifinished it around september and it's quite a summery scent I decided to wait. obviously now i'm on a spending ban so can't buy it which is so annoying, as i love everything about it.
3- random.
i'm due new lenses for my glasses soon, and am thinking waay out of my market. These are obviously designer glasses, which my mum says she will not buy for me unless she sees me wearing my current glasses more. seeing as i don't like them, and wear them for the bare minimum, this looks like it will be a lust not a purchase. but they're just soo gorgeous, and i genuinely think i would wear them out of choice. Ahh.
so that's it folks, sorry if it seemed a bit whiney- WHY DID EVER DECIDE ON A SPENDING BAN.

1- clothes.
This headband from Topshop is just gorgeous. I think knitted headbands look so cute in the colder months, especially in January and February when we're not feeling festive, just cold. If you're a regular reader of my blog you can probably tell how much I love the colour burgundy by now so this definitely follows that pattern...
2- beauty.
One thing I have decided recently is I need to take more care over my eyebrows. My hair follows my Italian genes so my eyebrows are very bushy and wild. Normally I just fill in the ends where the hair is a bit more sparse and thin, and then use a clear MUA mascara but a tinted brow gel would just make putting my makeup on in the morning so much easier. This one is expensive, but I've heard so many good things about Anastasia as a brand I'm sure it would be worth it.
3- random.
I saw Gemma mention this book in her latest haul video recently, and was instantly drawn in. It's definitely the kind of geeky thing I find interesting, but I think it would be perfect for flicking through when I'm bored and would look great on my shelf! And you can see how boring the fonts I use are... (picture) It's also great that the fonts come on a CD to use, which would be great for blogging. I assure you I wouldn't read this as a bedtime story though, so don't be worried.
As always, I hope you enjoyed this post, and hopefully I'll be back tomorrow for a new post, we shall see...

Loving and lusting... #3 The Christmas Special
Hi lovelys!
Sorry about the lack of posts this week. I don't really have an excuse but the pictures I had taken last weekend had turned out badly, and I can only take pictures at the weekend because of getting back from school when it's already dark. I was going to put a gift guide up, but thought it was a bit weird to do that as well as this wishlist post.
So this is the Christmas edition!! It's not such a gift guide but more of things on my Christmas list that are Christmasy!
1-clothes.
For this post, I had to choose a Christmas jumper for my clothing item. There was no other option. I really love baggy jumpers like this one and although it is men's I think it's quite almost stylish, and I like it for the ability to wear it after the festive period. Maybe. I also really love the colours. I would like a cheesy Christmas primark jumper as well, but we don't have a primark near us so havn't been able to get one yet. It's quite pricy at £30 but my brother has one of their jumpers and it's so cozy. (He wasn't too happy when he saw me trying it on though.) This one is more of a sweatshirt, so a little bit different.
2-beauty.
I struggled a bit for this one, as there are so many beautiful Christmas collections out this year. But eventually I decided, following Anna's lead. (I make this sound as if I've bought these. I havn't.) The essie winter 2012 minis collection. I really like how there are colours that could be worn way into summer, as well as the traditional festive glitters. I particularly love 'leading lady', the gorgeous sparkly burgundy. I can't actually find the set anywhere so the link is for the full sized bottles I'm afraid.
3-random.
Ok, this week's really is random, but I just thought it was so cute and festive, and will put a smile on your face every time you use it. I also think almost everyone (definitely in England, I'm not sure if they have it in other counties?) knows the saying. It's also pretty affordable and would be a really nice gift.
Hope you've enjoyed, bye!xx

Loving and lusting... #1
Hi everyone!
Today I thought I'd start a new feature on my blog called "loving and lusting." The idea is basically that every Sunday morning I will put up a post showing you the 3 things top of my wishlist this week. If you like the idea, feel free to join in and link up your posts below.
Every week I will show you all a fashion, beauty and random lust, if you're planning on joining in.
As its getting near Christmas a few of these things are on my list, so (hopefully!!) maybe you'll see them featured soon...
1-clothes.
I follow Ella Henderson on Twitter (@ellahenderson), and have seen her mention these squeaky jumpers quite a lot. I think they're so cute and fun, and with leggings think they'd make a lovely casual outfit! They're quite novelty, so would make for a perfect gift! I like all the designs but as I had to choose one this is probably my favorite. They are quite expensive, though at £39.95
2-beauty.
For beauty I really love the look of this Bobbi Brown creamy concealer kit. It's such a hyped up product that I'd love to try; it looks gorgeous, practical and well worth the money. I've seen so many good reviews and although it doesn't apply to me think it's great they have such a wide colour range. It's £24.
3-random.
I think this cushion from Urban Outfitters is just so cute and fun. I can just imagine it making a room look so lovely, and the first thing I think when I see it is Aubin & Wills! I've seen it (or something very similar) in the background of some of essiebutton's videos and it looks gorgeous. It's £26.
So I hope you've all enjoyed this post, and hopefully it will become a regular feature!
Bye!!xx
